Our recent collaboration with Stoneswood Homes, a high-end developer, saw the successful completion of five bespoke homes just outside of Penrith. Each house showcases the timeless beauty and durability of natural stone, chosen to complement the rural charm of the Cumbrian landscape.

Project Overview

The development included five individually designed properties, each constructed with high-quality British sandstone sourced directly from our local quarries. These homes were crafted to stand out while harmonising with the surrounding environment—offering both character and class.

• 2 Homes in Red Sandstone: For these builds, we supplied Lazonby Sandstone, a striking red sandstone known for its rich, warm tones and natural texture. Its bold aesthetic and enduring quality make it a perfect match for luxury countryside living.

• 3 Homes in Buff Sandstone: The remaining three properties were built using Northumberland Buff Sandstone, a beautiful yellow sandstone known for its soft, creamy hues and subtle grain. This stone lends an understated elegance that brightens the façade while remaining true to the traditional vernacular.
